Tv Installs

Lambert's aerials can install your flat screen plasma or lcd on a wall for you, ensuring it is fixed securely to the chosen wall with all cables neatly hidden away in profiled trunking or walls chased out and the cables recessed into the wall, which is then plastered over.

The process for installing tv's

After the initial phone call, a short survey is arranged to assess the property.

This includes a quick test to see if the wall is capable of withstanding the weight of the tv to be hung.

If we are ever unsure we will not go ahead with the install and advise the customer.

Once we have established the tv is going to be safely hung we can then move onto the aesthetic side of the install.

It does work out cheaper installing the profiled trunking but if your after a nice clean finish then we would always advise chasing out the plaster and recessing the cables.

We can even offer the services of our prefered tradesmen to complement the install of your equipment.

 Electrician (Kim Coldwell)

Plasterer (Paul Brinsley)

Decorator (Sandy Marriott)

A date is set for the electrician (if needed) to place a power source where the tv is going to be hung.

The installer usually comes out at the same time to install the wires and bracket onto the wall. At this point it is a good idea to get Sandy the decorator out so he can see what is needed to match up to the existing decor.

We do prefer to supply our own brackets as we know what will work and where, and are more than likely to be as cheap if not cheaper than the ones you can get from the big diy / tv stores, but dont mind customers supplying their own.

After the first fix we then arrange for the plasterer to call and make good. He can usually feather in the plaster to match the rest of the wall, although we do recommend skimming the whoile area. This gives a better finish, which im sure is what most people are wanting in the first place.

All that is left now is for the decorator to come out and paper/paint the wall.

See below for the proccess and finished product.
